On a truly fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants Sunday, William Hemphil filled in on short notice to give us a message on (appropriately) what to do in crazy times, and Amanda shared the youth’s mission to send shoes to Africa. You can check out pictures from the service here: link, and you can hear William’s sermon here: link.

Yesterday evening, nine members of The Forgiven performed at Lawrenceville Road UMC for their regular Music for Missions event. The band played a great 15-song set, featuring the talents of each one of their members, and -best of all – raised $600 in donations for local missions!

March 8 Wrap-Up

title_3-8

In today’s service, as we kicked off the second week of Lent, we talked about what it means to “carry the cross.” Tyler encouraged us all to be Giving Trees, and Debbie asked us to look for God to deliver us through our suffering rather than from it. To hear Debbie’s message, check out our podcasts.
